What do you think about when you hear music, food,
sustainability, and awareness? Probably not Schwoodstock, because none of you
know what that is. But fear not! By the time I’m done explaining it you will be
just as excited about it as I am.
Schwoodstock is a music festival that is taking place in the
Suites Courtyard on April 12th. Local bands and acts from UNCW will
be performing as well as some from outside of Wilmington. People come and go
with their blankets and chairs and sit back to enjoy the music. There will be
blank t-shirts available for people to stencil and decorate however they want.
There will also be food trucks like P.T. Grill and Poor Piggys. The
philanthropy this year will be Stop Hunger Now. They are committed to providing
food and life-saving aid to people around the world and we are honored to be
working with them!
It is a great way to sit back and relax and enjoy a chill
afternoon listening to music with the company of friends. It is a wonderful way
to enjoy an evening. There really is no reason for not going!
