UNCW has been included in Forbe's prestigious publication "America's Best Colleges" 2011 Edition! The publication reviews schools all across the country through a wide variety of criteria. Most importantly, however, is the fact that one of the main criteria institutions are evaluated on is the power of the student experience, and Forbe's obtains this information from the students of the schools themselves. Thank you so much to our students, who enjoy this wonderful community so much and so adamantly believe in the unique experience we provide, because without you we would have never received such an esteemed accolade!
Only 9% of all the 6,600 institutions in the country pass evaluation by Forbes before even being considered for review into this publication. Within that 9%, or only 610 schools, UNCW ranks 311! This also ranks UNCW 7th among all public and private universities in North Carolina, and second only to UNC-Chapel Hill within the UNC System. Click on the link to read the full article!
